Scott is in SF at a conference all week and “The Pauls” have been at an offsite since yesterday, so I’ve been all alone in the bullpen. I thought the day was going to be very uneventful, until Yoshi stopped in at lunch to save me from boredom. He was there to show our mutual friend and sometimes boss, Randy, his new bike. Randy owns at least 3 motorcycles and has been riding probably longer than Yoshi and I have been alive, so I went out to the parking garage with them to see his reaction. You know how things you have very little knowledge of, like motorcycles, all tend to look exactly alike? Well, standing there around Yoshi’s new Harley listening to the seasoned veteran give advice and tell stories to the newbie was very enlightening and entertaining. I believe I have a new knowledge of motorcycles, if not a whole new appreciation for them. Still seems a bit insane to me, but I have confidence that Yoshi is a very careful and calculating about his new hobby lifestyle, and probably won’t die before his time due to some foolishness like in those stories we heard.
